You hear that news story today, commerical airline pilot for Horizon (Alaskan) is facing 83 counts of attempted murder for trying to shut off the planes engines mid flight lol. Dude lost his mind

Yeah apparently he wasn't the pilot of that particular flight but was sitting in the cockpit jump seat, the pilots subdued him

 

Off-duty pilot apparently had a nervous breakdown

Yeah reached up and pulled the fire suppression system that shuts off fuel to the engines. They subdued him then reset it. Luckily there's fuel still in the lines and engines stayed on. No mention of were they on the climb out or what but they would have the ability to restart them one by one of they did shut down, but you need some altitude to do it.
