Lord. Tough luck, man. Here's hoping for smooth sailing from here. I'd bitch a try to get a free extended warranty out it for lack of confidence in their quality control.

Sounds like a mess. With that much oil everywhere I'd be a little concerned about internal engine damage. Did you ever see a oil pressure light come on? Was it ever below the dipstick level?

They need to do right by you and offer some kind of extended warranty on the engine.

Obviously, way too early for a huge leak like that.

I never checked it except for when I bought it. I purchased the 125/8 year warranty when I bought the truck. No lights or anything. I bought it in April and haven't been driving it much.

Eh shit happens it sucks but just think when it’s fixed it will prob never leak again. The dealer adds much more sealer then the factory does

Funny how there are so many more issues with US built Toyotas than those that were built in Japan.

Our 08 FJ hasn’t even farted in 155k miles

My wife's Japan built Rav4 had the transfer case fail at 35k miles and the ABS modulator died at 80K ($1k just for the part). But sure, since your Japanese built Toyota has been trouble free, it means they're all perfect.

He hates Hondas but is on his 6th 3rd because they all have had issues. Oh the irony.

5th and no they all didn’t have issues. My 17 and 20 were perfect. My 22 and 23 had issues. My new 23 doesn’t have any issues other then the rough idle at first.

Honda sucks dude. I’m an auto body tech. We work on those Hondas all the time. The engineering is on par with ford engineering. Just my 2 cents and opinion . Your entitled to yours. Being in the automotive industry I hear nightmare stories as well as see them for every manufacture and my opinion still stands that Toyota is the best despite issues I’ve had and being anal

Maybe more issues with the Mexican built Toyotas. You have a good point though ,our 07 FJ still drives like new.

To me it's just odd someone would throw shade at Honda and boasts Toyota is the best brand while continually buying themselves out of issues with the same truck over and over again.
