    I still like to use cash, it’s very rare to find someone that actually knows how to count back the change, they usually just hand you back a bunch of bills with some coins

    They want to track your spending. Paper tickets... gone. Cash? Gone... There is value is building customer profiles.

    It also saves them labor costs on the accounting side. No cash to count. No till to consolidate at the end of a shift. No money to deposit in a safe / drop box.

    A close friend of mine parents owned a Dairy Queen growing up. My friend was extremely left handed, the franchise’s are set up for right handed people. He got really good at it.

    I've noticed the merch booths take either one in my random sampling this year (MA area). Larger venues seem to have gone cashless.

    There was a time when ordering tickets you could either have them mailed free or pay to print them yourself..idiots. Some of the independent sellers still do physical tickets (See Ticketing I think is the name of one, just got Suicidal Tendencies tix from them).

    True re labour on site, plus a HUGE boost in security if there's no cash sitting around. No risk of employees being dishonest and pocketing money from the till (at least the old way), plus no risking a robbery.

    Perfect world yes, if nothing else to get rid of the nonsense fees.
