Lindsay Lohan is 24 and her story is all over the news because she's a
celebrity drug addict and allegedly, a thief.
Charlie Sheen is 45 and you would have been under a rock all week if
you hadn't heard about his antics.

    While................

are all Marines that gave their lives this week for you. There is no
media for them; not even a mention of their names. Very sad.

    Not enough.
This is what pisses me the fuck off about todays news media that would rather cover some dumbass and drug addict over the real important stuff, like these fine young men that gave their lives for country. You know what's getting covered over them right now? Its sheer idiocy. What's even worse than the news media are the retards that actually watch celeb coverage. Tmz and e news IS NOT NEWS.

not sorry for the rant, but I am sorry for the families of these soldiers.

This pisses me off because not only does the media try to point our attention to these fuckin useless topics like charlie sheen or lindsay lohan who were regular citizens of the united states they wouldn't be getting so the much attention while the families of these soldiers are in grief about there sons DYING for their country. I have upmost respect for soldiers and my prayers go out to there families for they're sons who lost their lives at such a young age

true but you know what. i say tell the news statons that celeb antics, is NOT fucking news, but the war effort and the soldiers and political actions is news(and the weather as well lol). america in general need to be more informed and needs to be less ''entertained''.

People don't want to hear the truth or see it. Why see a platoon of Marines mourning the loss of their brothers when you can listen to some fucktard talk about tigerblood and aliens or some crazy coked out whore. They want to keep everyone scared and entertained with the news, not piss people off, hence all the sheeple

this definitely pisses me off... I lost one of my best friends to a road side bomb 2 years ago... not a single peep on the news about him... instead... they wanted to talk about what p.o.s. celeb got arrested that night. what a fucked up place we live in today...

My deepest condolences go out to all of those families that have been affected from what is going on today. To the men and women who have died to protect our country, words cannot express how much respect I have for you all. Last but not least, the men and women who are protecting us and have protected us, thank you all oh so much! Keep up the great work and come home safe!

Most of those brave men died in July of 2010. Still doesn't change a thing. Sad thing is that there is another list of military folks that died for us this week and we don't know their names.

In the US, 'news' is not. They are in business to entertain, and coked-up morons are entertaining. US news sites tend to be sensationalised gossip, in sharp contrast to those elsewhere that actually provide candid and direct coverage of issues that are relevant to me and my bottom line.

Even the chatter among carpet merchants in Tabriz is more relevant than 99% of the garbage on the so-called 'news'! Even comparing apples to apples, "My goat had a baby, I will name him Mahmoud" is more entertaining than what I presume is incessant and inane chatter about degenerate behaviour.

Ever since I started watching Press TV, I have never looked back. It does not bother me with the cricket or football scores like those English in Al Jazeera, someone please send them a memo that they are not working at the BBC.
