are you looking for just the factory skid plate or the aluminum pro skid?

ive got a factory one laying in the driveway. @Tigerian might consider selling you his pro skid.

I ran both the steel offroad skid and the aluminum sport skid layered together for a while. It made working on the truck a pain though, but it was better than either one by itself compared to real skids.

Hey all I’m trying to help a buddy of mine swap out his coilovers and he wants to keep his spacer. Normally it’s not hard to separate the coilover from the top hat but this damn nut won’t budge and it’s always rounding the little stud up top… we don’t need the nut or the stud from this shock body you think it’s best to just cut the nut off at this point?

 

To be fair my frame was tweaked lol also i went to a ranger before another tacoma lol

plus as you stated it was fully built.. it was awful for long road trips or towing

@Calamity_taco maybe I looked at your picture wrong but if you take off the 314 mm bolts the whole shot comes out and you don't got to mess with it while it's attached to the truck.

thats a big nut! but yes you are correct but we were going to compress the coil with the weight of the vehicle (done it many times and prefer it over the death trap spring compressors). the only reason we are doing this is we are trying to get his spacer lift out... i told him hey buy new shocks that are adjustable and something came up where he wasnt able to buy it so he bought used take offs from a offroad model so working with what i got...
