I don't play anymore, but there was a survey I got stuck aat 96% at because all biomes said 100% but one fauna was still missing somehow.

Going to just pick the middle out here: I actually think community notes is the best idea any of the big social media platforms has had on the misinformation/conspiracy problem. It seems to work really well from the snippets I've seen.

But that aside, I've never really understood how the advertising decisions (starting on YouTube) were anything more than another power play via strategic pandering. Bigots drink Coke too, as they say. The only ones that would fault a company for advertising universally are the virtue signaling minority, or those simply want everything in life to be about sides. A rational person wouldn't stop buying gas at Circle K just because they sell candy bars to drug addicts, for example. It's a big topic, one we can't truly dive into without pulling politics in, because politics as a whole is a fight about ideas, money, and power structures, which is at the heart of corporate struggle.

For big label stuff reaching a target audience means a majority. I think if they wanted to advertise to a majority bigoted audience they could do that there's a site for that actually it's called Truth social. But Twitter (X) includes far more than just bigots as readers even if they may be a vocal majority. It's the reader they're advertising too not the writer necessarily. You're right to say that bigots drink Coke, but making it known that you're advertising to those people is going to anger the buying majority who aren't bigoted or virtue signalers who are lesser evil we'll say. On the topic of community notes, first of all how many people do you know that read notes ever, but on top of that I think the trajectory the company is currently headed for financially proves that it isn't working worth a fuck. They reclaimed no more advertisers since he's been behind the wheel, it's only been steady and steep loss with vague promises of improvements in the future. But you're right it does delve close to politics so I'll drop it if you'll drop it. We can both agree to watch this failure but judge it opposite haha

These are pretty interesting bumps @unstpible, hadn't heard of them before. Thanks for the heads up. Look to be some 3D printing process but seeing the different size and shape of various cells internally made me curious. Might have to try a set.

One of my Durobumps is out on a forest road in Dixie national forest, probably still rolling. Hopefully I don't get a ticket for littering

That was @eon_blue as I had to let him borrow my Durobump yet it kept falling off while at Moab; one of our videos even caught it rolling down Fins N Things

They were super cool at sending him out a replacement though, and I got my set back

Ya I'm gonna pretty much drop it, but I think it's important you acknowledge WHO is causing the pullouts. Why would a company choose to out who their socially undesirable customers are to the public if they thought it would paint them in a bad light? They wouldn't, unless there was a possibility that someone could make it hurt more than keeping the customer, and that's exactly what started cancel culture: numerous threats from activists (many backgrounds) with veiled influence. Now that those dominos have all fallen you have factions of advertising, tied in often with political messaging, which leads to new power structures when now they can leverage bulk, collaborative decisions to ruin something not approved by the faction and/or its ancillaries. I don't think the failure of new Twitter is all Elon's fault, I think it's partly orchestrated in response to losing some less-than-above-board dealings with the previous company & partners, who have motives beyond just profit themselves.

I also can't seem to find any recent resources summarizing that the financials of Twitter are substantially worse than before Elon; Twitter was operating on billions of debt before the purchase. So if you have a report of some kind that shows the demise is imminent and much more serious than before, I'd love to take a peek, just to be informed..

For the record, I don't know anyone who uses Twitter lol, so I don't know anyone who reads the Community Notes. I hear them referenced occasionally in some vcasts I listen to.

@Kwikvette did you make a coil buckets reinforcement? I think I remember seeing @Speedytech7 using one.

My spindle gussets were hitting the coil bucket and now I feel like it would be a good idea to do some preventative maintenance.
I might also need a filler plate for the kickout on my sliders. I worry about the dogs paw slipping while climbing in and out and want to avoid unnecessary accidents
(we had a dog get compound fractures in both front legs trying to climb a baby gate when I was a kid so maybe I'm extra sensitive to that)

The guy who built my sliders agreed to plate the entire thing but didn't deliver, I also had a cool design idea I wanted to include in the plate but that didn't happen either so maybe we can still make that happen

I tried to contact durobumps customer service but never heard back. I think they sat on the parts shelf for too long waiting for the new LCA's to get the eimkeith's reinforcements welded on so by the time I needed warranty I had already lost the proof of purchase

I used ones available from Keith, they aren't the full over the bucket option that some others make for themselves. I think his site is suffering partial outage due to the cloudflare issues today so i cannot produce a link for it right now.

    EDIT: found it https://eimkeith.com/buystuff/stk/

I never did, but if someone got measurements of any sort it'd be easy to knock a set out.
