Hahaha bought it for 1k with 80k on the odometer. Changed the oil 3 times had a 2x4 holding the drivers window up. Cops looked at me sideways when they pulled me over and I opened the door since the window didn’t go down.

I don't think my lower control arm is supposed to move laterally like that... my guess is the bushings are shot. Anyone seen this before?

I have part numbers 48068-04060 and 48069-04060 in my cart (LCA arm assembly for 3rd gen, I don't want to deal with pressing old bushings out on existing arms). Any other components recommended when replacing LCAs?

Update on Nightmare Gear an Axle or Just bend over and stick in in your differential or whatever they call themselves . I was given a hard date of 10/24 for my gears to ship. So I patiently waiting and called today to see what’s going on. Now they have moved the goal post to 12/19. :nuclear:

I wish it was. I would be on my way to collect and not wait the 3 weeks to get my money back. They are owned by a conglomerate now and have places in Denver, Atlanta and Phoenix. At this point I think all they do is run sales adds on social media, collect money from suckers that believe their bullshit and straight up fucken lie.

@Shadowhunter That's a shame to hear man. Although it took awhile for me to talk to anyone on the phone (about an hour on wait), the guys in Cashmere answered every question I had, made suggestions on gears as well as pros/cons of air lockers vs e-lockers. I didn't mind the wait on the phone as I was on my lunch, and my truck was not going anywhere with a blown rear diff. It's been 3 years and everything is working fine.

Yea, sad to hear, but it sounds like the company itself has gone downhill since then.

What’s really lame is they don’t say upfront on their website that it’s out of stock and just keep pounding out sale adds. Just taking the money and stringing people along is bullshit.

That’s that shit I hate. Keep promoting sales but no where does it mention they don’t actually have it in stock currently, nor do they have any idea when they’ll be in stock, not even any fine print.

I ordered my gears from Revolution Gears yesterday. Hit a little snag because they didn’t have a rear install kit no biggie Summit Racing has 6 sets. Ordered one from them. So everything is good now and on its way like it should be. Still have to wait the 2-3 weeks to get my money back from Nitro.
