Well, here's to investing back into my shop.

Ordered a nicer machine torch for my plasma cutter; it uses Hypertherm consumables.

My electrodes run me about 400 pierces per, and are pretty cheap at $3/ea (buying packs of 10).

However, a good number of people using this torch report about 1,100+ pierces per, and are at $9/ea (buying packs of 5).

Sure, they come out to be a tad more but for a consumable that's supposed to provide cleaner cuts I'll say "why not"

Company installed an AI chatbot in MS Teams for us. So far it is blatantly wrong about the function of safety critical products but very believable.
