Howdy ya'll. I just installed a pair of Diode Dynamics SS3s as ditch lights, I picked them up used. They happen to be the spot beam pattern. I was wondering if any of you guys want to swap driving/combo lenses for spot? They just don't light up the whole area enough for my uses.

I figure its a long shot, but any chance is better than no chance. Thanks in advance!

Ideally I'd be looking for white driving or combo patterns. I think the LEDs are different colors for white vs amber, so if I was to swap for ambers, I'd have to swap the whole light probably.

Yes, you are correct from my “understanding” the white/clear are k6000 and the yellow/amber are k4000 LED’s. I buy the yellow and change the lens to clear as I much prefer the white k4000 color, k6000 is too blue to me. So sorry to say all I have is yellow fogs lenses. I actually tried the yellow SAE driving lenses and I actually think I can see better with them. With the k4000 LED’s and the yellow lenses you get k3000 color.
The yellow cuts through the dust much better (to my old eyes).
If you might be interested I’m going to ask $20 for the set of lenses I think DD gets $30 each.
Oh, I just looked and I have a set of DD SAE driving yellow sport lights for a 12 plus Tacoma that might have a hour of run time on them. $140 new DD gets $280.
Pulled from our 15 after a gentleman told me to give him a price he could buy it for. Installed OE lights.

Dang, I think if I put yellow lenses on these, since they're the white ones, it comes out like a greenish color or something. I'd really be looking for clear lenses because of that. I would totally have hit you up on the fogs to, if I had known like two weeks ago, I just got Sport yellow SAE Fogs:annoyed:

    Yeah,
I’m sorry I thought I had more lenses available but I must have installed them on DD I sold in the past.???
I would think you get reflection off the hood with light pointing forward. I thought they should be pointed at an angle. :notsure: We have sand rails and even get some reflection with overhead lights.
If you’re or anyone else is interested in a set of DD sport yellow fog or SAE driving lights for a 12 and newer Tacoma with super low usage let me know. Oh, I had to modify the light mounts/brackets to get the lights to aim down low enough on our 15. I understand that the mounts/brackets don’t have this issue with the Gen. 3 Tacoma’s. I had just got these mounted before the truck was sold. As you can see they aren’t even dirty just some water spots on the cooling posts on the back. $140 firm!

How did you modify the brackets? I am slightly running into that issue with mine.

Look at the picture. From DD the side mounts are one piece. I cut them in two separate pieces just like BD/Baja Designs lights. The solid piece doesn’t let the light to point down enough to keep light out of on coming drivers. And the truck was lowered by 2” five lug. DD just used a 3rd Gen. mounts and called it good. Grrr…
There are two tabs on one side and two holes for two screws on the other, but on the 2nd. Gen you can only get one screw in place. The factory uses two screws. The lights don’t weigh much but the small harmonic vibrations can cause the lights to move over time. I purchased one size larger screw/s and used some epoxy in the single hole/s then push and turn the screw/s in place. I had Pro’s in at first but they have a lot of bleed over so light shines into coming traffic. I shouldn’t worry about it because so many other people drive around with high beams on or lights not in adjustment. I guess I’m too old and learned respect for others.

This is pretty random, but does anyone want a brand new mattress for dirt cheap? Located in Surprise.

It’s a King sized Helix Sunset, and very comfortable. We had this mattress for three years and it developed a slight sag in the middle, and was replaced under warranty. We decided to do a split king this go around since we have different mattress preferences, so just wanted to recuperate any money at all on this warranty replacement.

Asking $400, or will trade (plus cash if needed) for a handgun. Only reason I’m selling so cheap is because it’s had no interest and it’s supposed to be opened within 4 weeks of receipt, and we’ve had it for 2 weeks now, so I’d like it gone.
