    Brand new.
you all cant pile the leaves up and torch them, makes for a quick and dirty disposal just stand near by with a garden hose, like the old days how people did it

there's a special town in Massachusetts called Longmeadow mass, where they just rake them to the edge of the road and the town vacuums up. Those people are special there...

Welp, she’s gone, on her way to New Mexico. First time in nearly 50 years, I haven’t owned a truck. 66 years old, can’t drive, don’t own a truck, and hanging out in an over 50’s thread on a truck forum. The stars have aligned.:thumbsup::rolleyes::annoyed::confused::annoyed::fistbump::fistbump::anonymous::burnrubber::crapstorm::broccoli:IMG_0537.jpg

    You need a snowblower
If I took a torch to the leaves, half the state would burn

I’m a mulched/ compost guy, neighbor used to burn, then there was the call to fire department. It’s all a pain in the butt, but is better than living in the city. Plus there’s cold beer afterwards.:D

Nope, wife and I did the math , pros/cons , time to go. If it was an automatic we would definitely kept it. Now I’m looking and kicking tires :curls:

Leaves are falling like crazy here. I think this year I'll just chop um up with the rider. My back has been giving me problems lately. Raking leaves is not a good idea right now.

I look at it like, no matter how much I work at it, I’m still going to finish in the spring. Speaking of leaves, time to go.

I'm sure it wasn't a spur of the moment decision for you. Hope she found a good home!

Mulched/mowed leaves & then tried to use the yard rake to pick up walnuts. That didn't work.

Friggin thousands of walnuts on the ground @our place & closer to 10k kickory nuts, then the chestnuts & acorns.

Lucky for us the critters cart off a lot. 76* today with rain all weekend & highs in the 50s nxt week.

    Full on winter prep here.

Merl Haggard tried that with drinking and driving on his tractor, didn’t go well. “You said I couldn’t drive my truck to town drunk “ funny story.
