I have a new 2023 tocoma that vibrates and buzzes on the steering wheel especially when it down shifts on the highway on a hill , is this typical of these ? this is a fairly expensive vibrator , my wife's were a hell of a lot less expensive !!!!! I would like to get info before I call the dealer , honest information from people that own these trucks .

If you are serious, it's warranty work. Isn't that a significant part of the justification for buying new?

If not serious, that's a C- happy Friday

Another option is let the wife drive.

I do get a little harmonic buzz in the steering wheel during certain rpm ranges , but it’s not constant while cruising at speed . Been there since new .

I find it strange , seeing the power is being delivered to the rear wheels , I don't understand how it could find it's way up the steering column of all places , it is most noticeable at 45-55 mph . i like every thing else about the truck .

it’s not normal. Take it back to the dealer. You have a tire issue, whether it be a balance, or mounting issue or a bad tire. Could also possibly have a CV shaft
