After much debate the next build has been chosen.

Also, here's that rebuild of one set to make a camper for this truck. Ignore the random colors, I didn't have enough white. Sorry for the long wait for a photo!

Sill need to get in it and try to figure out what parts I'm missing so I can get my (a bit bigger than) UCS scale AT-AT finished. I put it on the back burner because of spring/summer activities and lost my job in the mean time. That seemed to pretty thoroughly take the wind out of my Lego sails, and instill some fear of the future.
Need to get on that just to make sure the build isn't lost to all the crap I currently have on top of the parts for it.

12 bags, though only 9 are labeled and a few parts carry over between them. Fitment is pretty great except for some 'technic' pieces, but they sent an extra 4 good ones to make up for it.

Overall, a good build for the price. Could probably MOC the whole thing with real lego if all the pieces match to real parts. Ended up with some spare parts that I put in a little ziplock labeled 'Chinese Fake Lego'.
Some of the designs didn't make a lot of sense to build it that way, unless you plan to only view it from one side. Theres a spiral staircase type of piece that didn't quite fit 100% right either, but it's attached enough.
Also the scale is not minifig sized on the lower floor, the counter is too high in the back for the chef! Stickers were neat, but none of the translations really make sense. Like the one by the sliding door reads 'Temple". The one on the front of the second floor reads 'Shrine Day Fee'? Guess I should've checked it for chinese instead of japanese.

Now time to slap it on the massive plate.
Update: Its not lego compatible, when I tried to place it on the build plate, the spacings of the chinese holes were ever so slightly closer together and thus as I pressed it on, the floor was bowing.

That sucks man. Here’s hoping your next job is so good you wonder how you ever put up with the last one.

Two bags in, appreciating the detail on this mini set.

Devil’s snare, the winged key room, wizard’s chess, the Mirror or Erised and the Chamber of Secrets are all here. A nerd like me abides.

I try to stick to one theme because, frankly, I don’t have enough house space to branch off into all the sets I want to get.

Occasionally I buy one that’s not HP like the Delorean or the Nintendo Entertainment System. This A-Frame is a set I’ve seriously considered. Looking forward to seeing the progress, looks awesome already.

same problem for me but some sets I just cant resist and the few that I did pass on I kinda regret... like the Jurassic park gates. I do try to stick to space stuff and camp/cabin stuff with a few exceptions for smaller sets

Its been a fun build so far. The interior is pretty detailed. I'll try to get a few more pics tomorrow before I add more walls. I dont think its going to be a huge build other than the trees

I know all about house space. I ended up just putting most in a storage unit. It’s a 10x30.

Just the sushi place. The car was an MOC my wife found for me, we made custom minifigs for it. The street is a Lego City set.
