A little of this and a little of that.
    Good evening.

Supervisor said that I have one day of vacation left over from my previous year, which is October ‘22 to October ‘23, so I have tomorrow off. I’ll be busy with leaves and yard work like a lot of you.

Dammit Jim, that buyer is getting a nice truck.

Good evening gang. It looks like the LAST nice weather day of the year is tomorrow, then by Monday I will have to run the woodstove in the evening. I want to work on the deck tomorrow, lady friend thinks that I should do something at her house.. this isn't going to end well.

Thanks for naming the artist. I think that I knew it, once upon a time. I know that he did lots of funny "fish" cartoon-y type of art. I always got a laugh out of it.

He lives in Alaska. His stuff is everywhere up there and used to sell a lot at the visitor center I worked at. If you ever get to see some of the full size prints it will blow you away how much detail is packed in there.
And one of my favorites...I think I still have the poster of this somewhere

Evening Andy. Hope the drive to camp was uneventful

Working on round 2 of XX (depends on how many times I want to go out) Have already burned 10 - 32 gallon trash cans full of leaves.

I do mulch some, but I have too many leaves.

I do :anonymous: sometimes. I also put some in my compost pile. No yard waste pick up here and don't want to take them to the re-cycle center

    sorry Jim :pout:

The last of my leaves don't drop until the new ones come out.... so it's an ongoing battle.

    evening boys n weesa

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Woke up to 67*. At noon, it was 71*. By 6 PM, it was 47*. By Tues, they are saying a high of 36* with snow. Like Dan @Taco-Grinder said, leaves are falling like mad...I think the 30 MPH winds are helping...

    Morning.

So, another round of leaf sweeping then the final mow.
Tomorrow final sweep then let things fall where they may.
May have roughly 20 sweeper loads by the time I’m done.
May not be able to tell I did anything but it won’t be as deep in the spring…

    Good Morning :hattip:

    36 degrees this morning.
The dog woke me. She didn't have to go outside. She just wanted to come up on the bed.

About 10 years we had an older couple living next to us. They had maple trees. Tom had one of these vacuum trailers hooked up to his rider. He would come over and pick up the leaves that fell from his trees. When Tom got sick another neighbor and myself would take care of his yard. On our road we used to joke around about cutting grass. As to what day and which direction to cut. One day I was cutting and I came up over the septic mound and there Tom was sitting in the shade with a glass of lemonade watching me cut. I stopped and talked to Tom for almost an hour.
Sure do miss Tom and Sandy.

    Morning folks.
Been up a while and have a nice fire going. Rio asleep beside me on the couch.
I went to bed around 7 after eating 3 Nathans with spicy brown and dill relish. Damn they were good.
    Go Team Mustard!

Jim, I feel for you and only wish it went to me, with an automatic in it. That is a beauty!
I had to sell my 82' Toy. 4x4 with 565k on it when Dr. started rebuilding knees. He said get a bigger cab and an auto. So came the 98'.
The 82' has over a million now and is still running around SB. My ex saw it last week. She still has to look at it...LOL

No leaves here, well some aspen and apple. Need all the mulch I can get.

John Prine on the turntable and a fresh cuppa.
    Life is good.
