I got on a cleaning spree a few months ago. I found crap for my TJ(it got totaled in 2018), luckily one of the docs has a TJ....so they went to him

    I might hoard things

Lol. We just replaced one of our roommates at home, so this weekend is gonna be a organizing/cleaning weekend. I'm mildly terrified to get to the garage which is primarily my domain.

Never had Spidi unfortunately. My main winter jacket is the Dainese Mayfair, cheaper than that one but the pockets are def smaller. Looks like they're doing closeouts on it, so you can get it at discount direct from Dainese.

    https://www.dainese.com/us/en/family-and-friends/mayfair-d-dry-jacket-201654621.html?dwvar_201654621_color=BLACK/GRAPE-LEAF/GRAPE-LEAF

That said, Spidi is reputable, I doubt you could go wrong.

Oh that's not bad at all. I'll dig deeper on it. Thanks for the recommendation.

A great ride today! No where in particular at all, just out riding in town and the countryside.

I did try out my ram mount for the old phone that I will use for offline maps. Worked good for being on road. Off road might be another story, but that remains to be seen next year. Still thinking about an actual GPS though.

Don’t mind the crap in the driveway.. it was on the list of things to clean up today.

Be careful, from what I hear RAM mounts destroy smartphone camera stabilizers from the vibrations. I imagine offroad would just exacerbate it

Rite rite. This is an old 6plus. Hasn’t been used in years. Will be used for maping (GPS) only. Not to concerned if I jack it up or not, if you know what I mean.

So I said I didn't like the XSR900 GP that was released, but I came across this XSR900 mod and this is what Yamaha should have done:

    minor tweaks
There's been quite a bit of that with the new phones that stabilize. They've even come out with mounts that are supposed to prevent it.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I easily see over 20 deer in less than 3-4 miles every morning. It’s makes it tough to go the speed limit in the early hours.

I come out of the woods from about a 5300’ decent down a single lane FSR. Once it flattens out is when I really see the deer. They are everywhere.

It kind of sucks how people ride your ass when truly between the fog and the deer; it’s just not safe to travel at speeds you can’t stop.

Going to get a short ride in this morning and fill my tank. Packing for vacation and heading to Baltimore later today. Overnight at hotel then shuttle to airport in the morning for our flight. All inclusive in Costa Rica next week and my longest stretch off a bike since April 2022. Will suffer withdrawal having no bike for 6 days. Figure I'd better post something in case you guys miss me. :bananadance:

We'll be at a resort so not sure. We're probably doing one excursion where we're going to ride 4 wheelers but that's 2 wheels over the allowed number for me.
