Smart choice…you want to come back in one piece and continue your ride. Quads are the last on my list for fun…I was almost killed on one; they are just dangerous as hell. I don’t let my friends ride mine unless I know they can handle it. Even then you feel uneasy about their safety.

I have two q-locks, one in the jeep and the other in the work truck. The one in the jeep has a short adjustable arm, and the rubber ball is a year old and deteriorating already. I might give one a shot on the bike, but with a year old piece coming apart already, kinda bugs me. this is why I went with the ram, this time.

Time will tell, and just like everything else…. It’ll probably get changed out too.

Played around with the rear suspension settings on the bike yesterday while out riding.. Could definitely feel changes in it as the ride went on. Gonna add a little more preload in the rear spring when I get some proper spanner wrenches, for my fat ass weight.

Supposedly, what I found online… the bike is set up for a 140-160lbs. Rider.. Me being 180-185, has the rear end squishy and soft.

Pretty light passenger. You should put some fishing string on his hands and attach it to your arms.

That way he will wave when you wave ;)

2 out of 3 first posts are in the motorcycle thread, you're gonna fit in juuuuust fine. Not often you see a 690 with hard cases, I like it.
