I’m curious on your thoughts on the T. Lee. I have one floating around, not sure if I should crack it open or possibly trade it. Thanks

Just did inventory. 230 bottles and 5 samples.

To be fair, 6 of those bottles are the case of Old Taylor.

finished one last night, had been saving the last pour for awhile and finally a good friend was over and he never had it before. Game on! It’s one of my all time favorites, not the best wiskey, but just damn good

Down visiting my folks in Florida. Went by Sam’s to see what they had. There selection wasn’t great but they had a few things that were priced okay.

Bourbon hunting in Ohio was pretty meh. Found a subreddit related to OHLQ that said Kroger was doing drops on Saturday of their state-allocated, missed that by a couple days but still went to a few to see what I could find. Saw this:

$50 for Antique 107?! You gotta be kitten me…

Found this, I’ve seen the Ezra 7 Bourbon is spoken highly of here, never seen the Rye mentioned here so I went online to the bourbon reviewers. It has some very good reviews and only 20K bottles were released (couldn’t tell you if that’s a high number or low) so I bought two:

Lastly, saw a Remus Gatsby Reserve Limited Edition 15 Year for $250. Retail is $200, it’s from MGP. They distill for other sellers and have been around forever and a day. Couldn’t find much on the Gatsby so I passed. Couldn’t bring myself to pay that for something I know nothing about.

I wasn’t a fan of the regular Woodford Reserve, but this Double Oak was fantastic.:woot: I was three glasses in before I could stop myself from drinking it all in one night.
