The way the high beam circuit works they don't pull enough current to turn the high beam light on in the cluster.

Check out the link in post number 2. Just because they appear brighter and have a cool looking blue/white light doesn't mean they're an upgrade. What they're doing is scattering light up into the sky and blinding oncoming drivers.

So honestly would I be better off buying some bada$$ halogens?
Right now I'm running the Philip's RacingVision 150%

I've ran all sorts of LED in my old wife's stocking housings. Yesh they may be brighter....butthr scatter isn't worth it. Because Ive been on the other end of the lights driving lol
Those Ostrams seemed pretty popular huh? Those are the brand I pulled out before throwing in the Philip's Racing Vision 150%

Read the thread posted above. Better quality halogen bulbs are only part of the equation. They are limited by the power available to them through the factory harness. The harness upgrade routes power straight from the battery to the back of each headlight, essentially bypassing the fuse box. The idea is that by combining the harness upgrade and good quality bulbs you'll see a substantial increase in output while retaining the optics of the factory headlight housing - meaning the light shines down the road instead of up into the trees

Yes I bought cheap Chineseum for shits and giggles. They're pretty bright beak pattern isn't too bad. The high beam indicator no longer works though. High beams still work. My advice would be to get some leds from a good brand like Phillips or Sylvania.

Unless you want to replace the housings. I did the wiring upgrade as laid out in the link in the second post and it was worth the money. Definitely suggest the upgrade.
