There’s a pic for you. Working on the right combination of Alliant 2400 and 158 grain LRN for this Smith .357. Packer games usually mean an empty range in Green Bay. IMG_0219.jpg

If you are looking for deals Swampfox offers a 30% discount to millitary and first responders that usually compounds in their sale prices you just need to start an account and give proof you are law enforcement and get approved. The discount will remain in your account so whenever you log in and make a purchase you get it.
Side note how’s the Springs I left Carson in ‘88 and haven’t been back

I use red dot because I can’t see the iron sights that well anymore.

I’ve been shooting since 1993ish. So not as long as you.

Good call on the Mil/LEO discount. I already have that, waiting to see what their BF deals are. Plus I have a $100 off coupon from their BF Sale last year. So hoping I can get a steal again this year.

The Springs is crazy big compared to 1988. The Springs and Monument are almost continuous now. But is probably the best Big City in Colorado to live in. Couldn't pay me enough to live in Pueblo/Denver/Fort Collins. Homeless are bad Downtown Colorado Springs, but not as bad as Denver.

We hadn’t been to Springs in about 8-10 years. We were there a couple weeks ago and the transient population has increased significantly, at least from what I remember. Still a nice place though.

I “finished” my Henry Big Boy 357 build a few weeks ago, forgot to add any pics. Here it is stock, I hope my serial number isn’t showing

Finished with a few Ranger Point Precision goodies….debating on an optic but I like shooting lever actions with iron sites

I’ve been thinking about one of their 45/70 lever guns. Great company. Contact them, and a person actually talks to you. Their catalog gets cooler every year.

I’ve got their 45-70 all weather with the scout rail on front, great gun! The 45-70 ammo ain’t cheap though. I recently put a Burris scout scope on it and it’s awesome and so fun to shoot.

    IMG_0637.jpg

Only gun I’ve seen them produce that hasn’t had great feedback is the homesteader semi auto, no matter which magazine adapter you choose. I’ll wait to see if it gets improved before purchasing that one.

I have to deal with the homeless every day and it seems to have gotten worse in the last couple of years. Especially the mental health aspect of it. I also live on Homeless Highway, they tend to use my neighborhood as their main travel travel spot, but I have not had any issues in the last couple of years at my house.

They had every LPVO on sale except the Tomahawk, if it isn't on sale on BF, I will be going with the Arrowhead.

Red dot would be the first thing I did because the irons are getting difficult.

I had Lasik Eye Surgery about 7 years ago. At the time I was incredibly near sighted. I could see the speedometer perfectly but couldn't see past the dashboard to drive. Surgery was GREAT. I was corrected to 20/10 and settled out at 20/15 after a week or two. I can still see and count the needles on a cactus several yards away from my house but my close in vision is failing. Might need to go back in for a tweak and an adjustment.

I may use full lens +1.0 power safety glasses from time to time.

The arrowhead definitely has some nicer features, which may sway me over to that model.

Picked up a new EPS carry to replace my 407k.. so making another revised optic plate/filler plate for my P320. The first one was super basic and machined out of 416 Stainless. This new one has some anti-rotation bosses I added as well as being machined from 6061 Aluminum.

My Chipmunk TM22 showed up at my FFL yesterday. I put it next to a Lakefield 91T for comparison. Serial number in the low 50s. I love uncommon .22 rifles.
