    Hah, I've seen that little pump truck across from my house going up the road several times. If you ever take the Mercersburg PA route that turns off of RT16 onto Heisey Road, my house is right across from Heisey :laugh:

    People that pump my tank have a big rig that has a 5K+ gallon tank on it. Guy was hesitant when I told him back right up to the tank in the back yard.

    Got some friends from PA coming down today for a kids “play day”… I’m sure the kids will be down at the farm petting zoo or ponds fishing all day. So guess us adults will be just hanging here today. Maybe I’ll sneak down to the ponds too… lol!

    Went to New River Gorge this weekend. Pretty neat spot. @DetroitDarin had mentioned hipcamp on one of his trips so used that for Friday night. Worked out pretty good. Probably going to use it for my trip out west in January if I go. Need to save up for that. I'm kinda up in the air on things but I'll be leaving Maryland at the end of the year. Going down to Florida to figure things out...

    Good evening everyone.
    I got to go for a hike around Cunningham Falls on Saturday, the park was packed! I'm pretty sure it's going to be a long time before we get another sunny 75° day around here.

    Today was spent getting the woodstove ready to fire up, probably tomorrow or Tuesday. I had to replace some gaskets, I use Mr Gasket high heat gasket material. I seem to get 2 seasons out of a set of them.

    Well, that was a great and beautiful weekend, no doubt… but went by way too fast like usual.

    What ever happened to all that talk about this country adopting a four-day workweek?? All the studies showed productivity among employees went up and business profits went up as well… so I don’t see a reason why we aren’t doing this?!?!

    The company I work for is almost there, we are allowed, if we choose, to work 4 nine hour days with a half day Friday...I try to do that as much as I can...in particular with the daylight hours getting shorter.
