A gorgeous weekend at the North GA mountains. I ran Currahee which was a bucket list item for me being a 29th Infantry Division Veteran. The kids love the wedge but love s'mores more.

Being able to set up camp in 60 seconds is amazing! I got two more nights in with my men's group at a gorgeous piece of land.

Ha! It's a blend of many different setups...GFC...alucab....Super Pacific... I researched for about a year and made a list of pros and cons of each. I was feeling settled on the GFC as the best compromise until I found this design.

The features, weight, price-point (Install, ladder, light, molle, awning brackets, roof rack and windows all included) and the fact that Inca was just a 5-hour drive from me made the decision for me.

Yeah at first I was like what the heck is that thing, since it looked like a threesome between some of the campers haha. I saw the price point, totally agree with you there. The SP has gone up to like 14k... too crazy.
    How has the camper been?

Man it has been awesome! I've gotten a ton of nights into it already. Once through a storm. My friend with a GFC wants my tent because the blackout part zips into the bed instead of outside of the truck, little stuff like that makes it so much nicer. Also wiring is fantastic because there's a chanel to run everything through. The integrated MOLLE on all the doors matched with the beefy struts keeps things organized and accessible.

I did have an issue with the bulb seal we put in when I first got it. The guys from Inca drove from Atlanta to my driveway and we put a new seal on and caulked it to the bedrail on either side. I've had zero leaks on it.

I've had the switch panel for a number of years and the toggle switches kept getting bumped when I loaded the truck. Finally one broke so I upgraded to this. Much cleaner! Got told I could park on the curb if I could manage it. Ha.

The APL55 has been rock solid.

It does not open all the way in my camper so I put two little pieces of Velcro on it and two pieces of Velcro on the roof. This way when I do open it it stays open and a little tug lets it soft close down. Got two more nights in GA this weekend. Can't wait!

Another great weekend of camping! Thiss time at a family members hunting land in middle Georgia.

The ARB awning room is still such a top used piece of equipment. My wife and kids were able to do yoga and we actually split sleeping in the camper and the awning room.

If they made a 270° awning room that was freestanding I would buy it ina heartbeat!

    Looks like a good time.

What brand is your awning and awning room? What size is it?

    Thank you!

I replaced the Ironman UCA's with...... Ironman UCA's. They had a recall and sent a free replacement. This set is Moog so that should be great. Just gotta find a dust cap for them. Ironman is a great company and really supports their customers.

Tomorrow I'm going to bullet line my fender flares. The clear coat is starting to fail.

A little cosmetic change. My bushwacker fender flares were showing some clear coat failure and tons of dings and dents. So I coated them.

I love paint and polish so this look is definitely different to me! But it matches up really well with the Line-X front and rear bumpers. I can see how tempting it is to spray the entire truck!

One less piece to wax I guess!

Diode Dynamics Ditch and Fogs installed. Both with amber backlighting.

@memario1214 was awesome to work out and make this happen! We figured out a way to get the fog lights with the round bezels and the Amber back lighting. These are the Pro Series.

Glad I stumbled across your thread, nice build man! I'm actually looking at the same camper. How's the durability/quality been so far? They look really nice just wondering because they're made of thin aluminum panels and nuts and bolts with no frame like a GFC has. It seems like it should be okay, but it'd be nice to hear your real world experience.

Hey Josh. Thank you. The aluminum is pretty thick. It does not waffle around. It does not have a full frame but all four corners are reinforced by posts. The tent portion and where it holds in the bed of the truck really make it a unified shell.

It is holding up great. I daily drive the truck we camp out of it frequently. It is also great for my daughter's travel soccer games. We are able to pop up the tent give her the place to relax between games.

If you get a shell like this definitely have a plan before you install. I'm glad I did. I put on the flat aluminum bed rail caps, the bed rug, and knocked out a decent chunk of the wiring beforehand. Inca is an amazing company and the support you get from them is phenomenal. It took us about 10 hours to install but we also put up a full solar setup and did some custom wiring wish to ok a good chunk of extra time.

I just got a free spirit 270 awning installed it this morning with the help of it awesome member here. I'm looking forward to the Expo in March here in Florida.

I love meeting Tacoma owners from the forum. This morning I met up with Chris and purchased his 270 Free Spirit awning and room. Awesome guy!

I cannot wait to put it to use this weekend for travel soccer and next weekend for the Expo in florida.
