Nothing really new. But it is apparent only the SR5, Off-road, and Sport will be available this year.

    Good news:
‘22 Tundra prices were revealed 11/5/21, with deliveries beginning by end of year. That might a good reference point now. Almost there!

    Bad news:
Since Gen4 was revealed this past spring, auto rates have increased at least a point. So, without even revealing the price or a single test drive, a 2024 Toyota Tacoma has already gotten significantly more expensive (to finance). Thud!

If the G4 is in production, I’d have to think that pricing will need to be released soon...as in very soon. Vehicles aren’t like houses, they don’t take 6 months to build.

On the TFL sr lift kit video said the sr will be hybrid optional. If it were I wonder if cloth is the only seating option...

I thought all the info out there says the optional hybrid was only going to be available on upper trim levels? The SR and SR5 are supposed to be a little more budget friendly models with the SR even having a lower HP rating.

I watched the TFL video yesterday and he says it at the end. It was at a Toyota HQ. Makes sense considering it had coils too......a nice option if true.

I don’t believe anything until it’s for sale, in the brochure, and on Toyota.com. The brochure had mistakes in years past but they were minor packaging errors.

    Release the Kraken!!!

Right from Toyota.com it lists SR and SR5 with the 2.4T and no optional Hybrid.

So far, according to Toyota's site, the hybrid availability starts with the TRD Sport and higher level trims.

I believe the SR only gets detuned with the automatic transmission. The manual transmission is the same power output as the sport/off-roads with manual trans (270hp/310lb ft). As somebody who wants a manual no matter what, this makes the SR a very interesting proposition if the price is right. Of course it’s the only trim without a reveal so far…

I believe the SR, like 2WD, will be reserved for our American friends.

Where did you read that about the SR MT not being detuned? I hope you are right, but I just haven't seen that anywhere.

Check out the 5. Worth the upgrade, IMO.

Yeah, I want to upgrade to a MOS cut slide eventually. Might even check out the G45 or 19x or something. Not sure yet.

Don't we just get the Sr5 as the base trim up here? I thought that's how it always has been?
