I recently inquired (within last week) about converting my shit over to propane and propane assesories and the cost was astronomical. Yea, nope.

I accounted for it when we had the house built.
The only thing I regret was not getting a gas stove/oven in the kitchen..

The furnace knocks the chill right out of the house real well and the gas dryer warms your clothes so nicely when it is cold out..
Gas water heater gets scald you hot [which I like]
No filling shit to grill
The fireplace = heat when the power goes out

 

My hot water used to go through the oil boiler and holy shit did that get hot! No tempering valve on it so it could have been low limit 130 all the way up to the high limit of 180. Showers were interesting till I put in a proper water heater.
