There is a thread floating around where a member had one speedo working, one wasn't and some cluster lights didn't work.
I think the consensus was intstrument cluster, though the thread turned into one big speedo discussion.
Auto makers, like our press manufacturers, are required by law to support the tech for 10 years.
After that we have parts custom made or find used.

Where do you guys rent from that has Tacomas and 4Runners? I haven't had to rent a car recently, but I generally go for the cheapest option and end up in some Hyundai shitbox.

Funny story... my 72 year old mother-in-law drives a Honda Civic. She was in a minor accident a couple weeks ago, had to get the rear bumper touched up. They set her up with a Dodge Charger. She was afraid to drive it anywhere or park it. I didn't know she had it until she had returned it. I would have taken it off a few sweet jumps or something.

 

Quite a few have 4Runners. Usually you need a midsize rental or suv to get anything good. Also helps if you have status so you don’t get a Chevy spark

Rental companies never make sense to me. Like let's put Grandma in a Dodge charger... Or the last time I used Enterprise I told them I needed a full-size sedan because we were taking five adults to Nashville and they were all about it. They said they had options like town cars and Camrys and all kinds of full-size cars. D-Day comes and I show up and they've got me a Dodge dart. I let him have it. Got like a two out of 10 review because driving to Nashville with 5 adults in a Dodge dart...
