I had a buddy that had one of those. Back when Nicky Hayden was racing in AMA, he got his autograph on the tank at Road A.

IMO one of the most beautiful looking and sounding sport bikes produced. Those gear driven cams sounds *drooooool*

The one and only time I rode a quad outside someone's backyard, I rolled it. Somehow managed to throw myself away from it and avoid any injury. That's the last time rode a quad lol. and this was in the desert in loose sand, could have been much worse.

and you wanna come at the florida man about a helmet smh

Yeah quadlock with vibration dampener seems to be the way to go, that's my setup with a fork stem mount.

Quadlock on the bike, Ram in the truck. i don't really use the RAM mount when I'm offroad in the truck, because it vibrates the phone to holy hell and it concerns me lol.

    yessssssss

that looks good. I'm not a fan of that front headlight fairing though, looks too much like the modern ones. Those retro bikes need a big headlight IMO.

wow that's gorgeous and pristine. absolute stunner

feeling kinda anxious this Monday, just getting antsy for the track weekend coming up lol. Gotta swing by a store and pick up a 5 gallon gas can and some masking and duct tape then i should be ready for the track aside from a Uhaul rental

Unfortunatly some of that stuff is "safety standards" ... IE, the BETTER lights n features havent had the stamp of approval within the US system.

oh no no thats not the issue... 11th gen civic si for example.
    canada
    heated front seats
    heated rear seats
    heated steering wheel
    fog lights
    parking sensors front and back
    turn signals in the mirrors
    different dash with shift lights
and a few other small things all for 26k
    ameican
    nope
    nope
    nope
    nope
    rear only
    nope
    standard dash no shift lights
less options at msrp 29k but on average being priced around 33-34k...
only thing the us model has is it can get summer tires..

a good amount of this is all stuff that came from the 10th gens...

Here it is. Not the correct tank, but I put the original AMF decals on it anyway. Pretty clean with only 10K miles. As you know last year of the right side shifter. Always something work on with this thing! Ironhead.jpg

Awesome bike! I had a 77 as well that was pretty much stock. That 73 of mine was so much fun. It ran so well but it looked like it shouldn't

Once you get them dialed in they are pretty much gas and go. I bought this one a year ago. Aside from the oil marks it leaves everywhere!! Had been sitting in a garage for some time. It still needs tires, and the clutch needs adjusted out. It runs strong.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I owned the exact same bike.
There is no better sound from any motorcycle. I would put money on it.

Nice! Where'd you find that gem? The ones I come across on FB marketplace and CL have a hefty "I don't want to sell it" asking price.

Alright, I have a better version of my original question. Thank you for bsing. Hypothetically, let's say you're shopping for a used, 15 year old bike and you're choosing between two identical models, the only difference is that one bike was usually refilled at 1/4 tank, and the other was usually refilled at 1/8th tank, or around the time the empty light came on (?). Which would you prefer?
