I added some KC slim lites to my rig. They throw about as far as my hella 135 over 90 watt replacement headlight bulbs. They definitely light up the sides and fill in the shadows with more light though. But in terms of distance, I think they're about the same. I'm going to try and adjust them one more time to make sure their angled right.

and definitely was wondering what "new tech" vinyl feels/looks like... tough to wrap the head around that it may be just as nice as leather....

For a Taco IMO it feels great. I'm sure the genuine leather would be even softer, but for my purposes and mileage on the truck this ticks the boxes. Adds a bit more cushion, looks like leatherette I've seen in Honda and Toyotas. Sport seat bolsters are your enemy when applying, just take your time.

Back seat will have to wait. Still doing minor adjustments for OCD fit.

Removed my GoRhino step bars today. I'm planning on adding a set of sliders soon once I make up my mind on what I want, but honestly, I like the look of nothing there too. I might change my mind at some point but that's the plan.

My guy, try shoe goo, I swear to God. I doubted it and it worked better than any commercial grade 2 part I could think of. This is, if your tear is minor as a temp fix!

Took it to Rhode Island where I met with a fellow Taco owner to pick up this '88 Golf, exact same spec as the one I drove in college but mine was a '89. Unfortunately there's some rust but that's the northeast for y'all.

OEM since I already had it on the shelf. When the time comes that I need to buy, I'll most likely go with CVJ Axles.

I moved the box inside so they could have a house and they've already crayoned it up. That should keep them busy while I do the install.

Can you get the light shroud in with the bumper mounted? I sure couldn't on my FJ, had to pull the bumper.

Yup! I put light shroud in and will wire tomorrow. I can stuff my whole head behind there no problem.
