I have been having a bad overheating issue when I drive my truck any longer than 2 hours. Anything under is fine. I have replaced almost every cooling component, water pump, thermostat, radiator, radiator cap, even that bypass hose under the intake manifold I replaced with a metal one. But it still overheats after driving for a while. It's a highway truck so it's always kept at around 2700 RPM sometimes close to 3K RPM.
I am stumped. Head gasket seems fine I was told to look into the sparkplug hole and see if any of the pistons look different from each other, they all look the same. A weird thing that does happen is coolant will overflow in the reservoir tank and spill quite literally everywhere on the engine. Today I got home from a 2-hour commute and the gauge was somewhat close to the red. Reservoir tank was bubbling from the bottom really badly. I decided to get a long stick and loosen the radiator cap (dumb idea I know) and it released a crap ton of air and made bubbles come out of the tank. Once I took the cap all the way off it like exploded the cap off and coolant went everywhere.
Maybe the head gasket is bad since it gets so much pressure, I dunno. I really don't want to replace the head gasket since my engine has 230k miles it would be pointless. I am stumped. Some advice/help would be much appreciated

Pressure has to be coming from somewhere. There’s a tool you can use to test the coolant for exhaust gasses or a compression test can let you know whether you have a pressure failure or not.

Head gasket more than likely. Radiator level drops too and it won’t pull anything back into the reservoir right? Along with the bubbling in the reservoir, my 2TR did the exact same thing after driving on the hwy, it was the head gasket

My money is on the head gasket.

    Still thinking about it.
I had a very similar experience (it took a couple hours to overheat) on an Isuzu Trooper 2.6 and that one had a cracked head. It caused a tiny leak of combustion gases into the coolant until eventually the cap lets go and foamy coolant comes spewing out of the overflow reservoir.
