Battery Replacement Suggestions

If this has been posted before. I do apologize. Just got off a double shift.

I'm going to need a new battery before winter sets in. Just looking to see what others have and all.

 

Since you live in PA, and East Penn/Dekka battery is what I would go with. I've had very good luck with them.

 

Exide from Home Depot has lasted me 6 years & they're cheap.

 

I just purchased whatever was available at O'Reilly's in Fruita, CO since mine crapped out at Arches National Park and we were headed back to Colorado anyway. It came with a 5 year warranty too.

i have had good luck with napa batteries. i am not sure who makes them but if you could find the manufacturer, i'm sure you could just buy the brand.

I'm not going to lie. That's what was in my ram. I got 7 years out of it. The one before that was from the factory.

NAPA batteries are made by East Penn.

 

Deka is an excellent battery but looking at their website there is no distributor near my part of Pennsylvania. I would most likely Just go the Bj's wholesale and get an InterState 24f off the rack for $115

Only 3 companies make car batteries in USA,

Johnson Controls, which supplies more than half of the market; Stryten; and East Penn.

All the fancy names and colors in the store is just a rebrand/subsidiary of one of those manufacturers.

+1 for Walmart Everstart batteries which are manufactured by Johnson Controls. I always get 5+ years out of them.

 

Any battery that fits. Any price you want to pay. Any color. The only thing that matters is that you get one asap when you need one.
