Casually passing through here and I'm interested. I would have to stand at the curb and rev it like that though

Literally would make no difference to me. Carb'd or FI'd. Wouldn't care, wouldn't even ask about it. I only care about gas tank levels when it comes to storing the bike for long periods of time.

There's a very inexpensive one near me, for someone not concerned about having to reassemble

I wouldn't call that inexpensive given its condition. It would cost several grand to put that bike back to stock.

Given nice low mile ones are going for 12k+ I'd consider that inexpensive even with the work required

Yup agreed, if the bike is being used somewhat on the regular to require fueling up cus the tank is ran down it dont bother me.

Now storage I definitely care about - not typically a problem here in CA as we dont have riding seasons :p

I am in the camp of, steel tank or plastic, store FULL with a double dose of fuel stabilizer (Startron Enzyme treatment is my preferred) and make sure the bike has been ran for a full heat cycle with to circulate through fuel injectors / carb. If carb, drain carb completely. I have a honda eu3000 generator at the parents house stored like this (steel tank) and even with 3 yr old gas it has only turned ever so slightly yellow, zero varnish, starts up every time. I am going to make it a winter project to drain that fuel and put fresh fuel in though.

Plastic can also be completely drained and aired out to fully dry of any fuel.

Now what you DONT do is store fuel in steel tanks like the guy i bought the 2 honda 50cc scooters from... like 1 quart of fuel in them for 20 yrs.... the fuel tanks are SOOOOOOOOO BAD.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I like your little army trailer. I have built out a few of those and sold them. Hard to beat.

I had a M416 years ago, then decided I wanted a Comanche bed trailer to match the TJ. I wish I had just put the M416 to the side. I didn't have but a couple hundo in it.

I have seen your trailer builds on here in the past. Very slick.

Here is my trailer. All SS and it’s a tank! Built by a guy who imports SA into the country.
It’s a Campa USA trailer. Tough enough that I have taken rock crawling to get to some spots.

    That's sick. I'd love to build a dirtbike/camping one from a M103A trailer. Throw a 6 lug axle under it with matching wheels/tires :D

I now pretty much rent the trailer out and pull a motorcycle trailer with me. I put a GFC camper on the back of the taco, cause I was always wanting to pull a couple bikes with me.

The generator trailers are sweet. And can be found for cheap. Having the bows on it’s nice to be able to cover your bikes. I actually have been in the beginning phases of creating motorsport specific flatbeds for sale.
I keep getting my ass distracted.

My recent project that has been pulling me away from my riding. Now I still get some in early in the morning after coffee, but this fence has been kicking my ass.

I used locust trees I cut down from my property. Sank them 3-5’ in the ground with my auger.

    This fence is stout!

I can't seem to finish any personal projects(most quit after dreaming them up , others after getting mobile)........dang sure would never be able to do it to sale
I've dreamed up a slide-in camper and how I want it built. I just need to get off my ass and run up to Atl and grab the aluminum tubing.
