    Yes, 2.5x14 Fox coilovers, 40" Mickey Thompsons.
    I'll probably start a build thread within the next few days since I'm taking a little break waiting for parts to arrive.

    Definitely possible I suppose. Guess you could put the axle way out in front of the engine haha. I like my Rockwells good enough, but damn I wouldn’t put them on anything that wasn’t all tube.

    Whose using a super duty axle and stock frame? What kind of numbers are you getting? IMG_3582_Original.jpg

    @malburg114

    “Stock frame” as in not notching the front frame section? The top of the center section hitting the frame will be your limiting factor then. With no truss on the axle, 24.5" frame with 5" of up-travel on 40s is the absolute max you'd get before the center section hits the frame (with 99-04 SD axles, not sure how much different 05+ SD axles are but I imagine similar). I see you are using the new 4WU SD stuff, I'm not sure how large the truss is (looks like ~2"?) so I'd say you are only able to get 3" of up-travel with the numbers above.

    I wanted as much up-travel as possible on my build without a body lift or lifting the engine, so I built a new front frame section. 24.5" frame, 5" up-travel, on 40s are my numbers.

    Thanks. I’m building it for a buddy and we are scrapping most of the 4wu kit. The frame side link mounts won’t work but I’m hoping to use the truss and some other pieces. The buddy was torn between keeping the stock frame or having me build a new one. I wanted to build a new one and convinced him to go that route.

    the bare minimum I’m hoping for is a 25 in frame height and 5 inches of uptravel. Plan is to raise the motor similar to my personal Tacoma ao that will help. You have a build or some pictures I can send to him so he sees what I’m trying to do
