Perfect, just what I was looking for. And I totally agree with you about trying to manage it with spring rates and valving. Because if I'm not turning the truck rides great why would I want to tune that good behavior out of it. Just want to control the roll a bit and this sounds ideal.

Yep. Like I said, call Tony at TK1 and he'll take care of you. Just explain the build to him and he'll steer you in the right direction.

I never said you should turn your shocks into swaybars? Makes no sense. What I'm saying is if you try to tune your shocks for body roll, you will lose ride quality, and won't really fix the body roll. That includes plugging bleed holes. But I don't know why you bothered asking in the first place since it seems like you're just gunna do it anyway. I think you were just looking for somebody to agree with you.

That's the best part about shock tuning is trying stuff and seeing what happens. All I knew was bleed affects low speed damping but clearly wasn't sure what the affect would be in real life and @Bandido described it perfectly so I thank him for that.

Does anyone know anyone who will buy this 4xInnovations double cab roll cage from me? $500 takes it. Need it gone.

Aren't you caging it for real? I'd think you could reuse some of that cage. The steel is good regardless of the questionable design

Yeah but that’s down the road a bit. I think I want to use 4340 instead.

Yes sorry, that’s what I meant. And yeah that’s why I’m getting rid of it. It would be fine for rock crawling I guess, but not high speed stuff.

Anyone running carbon fiber fenders? I just want to tell you you’re cool and to gaze upon their wonderful weaves. What’s the benefit to running them other than added strength (I’d imagine)?

I don’t have much experience with carbon fiber to know if it’s that much stronger or easier to work with.

Eh weight va fiberglass is negligible due to them using fiberglass base most the time. But everything else yeah, I thought about going carbon on my one piece but the 2k price tag said otherwise, I would hope though that carbon fenders would have a nice finish to them at least, my gel coat on my one piece wasn’t the best but oh well.

The CF are a lot stiffer which is a plus. Your not going to run them naked unless you clear coat them or they will get sun damaged. The only real downside IMO is that if you need to modify or repair them then you are working with CF and epoxy resin vs regular fiberglass mat and poly resin that you can get anywhere

Has anyone here run a spool? Or an e-locker engaged on the street? How stupid would it be?
Idk i have my steering shaft welded where the rag joint is and everything i read said it'd be ridiculous but i don't mind it. The little reading i've done on spools is more or less the same but idk - plenty of race cars that run them up to the high hundreds without crazy handling effects through turns, plenty of trucks that chirp tires a lil in parking lots or u-turns. Assuming the auto-lsd feature works or compared to strong limited slip diffs could it really be that much worse?

Would not necessarily be that good for your winter driving on icy roads or off camber inclined snowy dirt roads.
