The trailer is 1600ish lb empty. Getting rid of the axle/wheels/tires would cut that down a good bit.

New MT09 just dropped. So I fully expect an R9 to be unveiled here at some point. Pretty exciting.

I'm talking about the bigger version, not the 1/4 ton version of the M416(M762). They're roughly 6x8 beds.

Ideally a M116A would be better as they're only 800ish lbs.

    1/4 m762

ah i see ya that could work as long as you took the oem axle out lol otherwise you might hit a bump and launch your bike into orbit lol

if you can get one for cheap that would be nice

I bet the transmission has worked every single time you have gotten in the truck :D Sorry had to!

R9, now that would be interesting. How would they market that between the r6 and r1?

Were the ramps secured with a strap?

The Rotax motor out of the early 2000's Aprilia Mille R might beat it out by a hair. Then again, I might be a little biased.

The era where Honda, Ducati and Aprilia all campaigned 1000cc twins in WSBK was a great one.

From what I remember, the R6 is no longer produced for the street as of 2020(?). They now produce it more or less as a track only package. The R9 should fill that void.

Yup. I don't think the reception for the R7 was quite what they'd hoped lol.

Am I seeing this right, you're using hi-lifts as levelers? lol genius.

R6 is gone. They had the remaining ones for sale as track-only but that has either ended or will be ending. So the R7 was really never meant to replace it, it was meant to compete in the Twins class and be a step up from the R3. The R9 will essentially be the R6 replacement and will be competing in the Supersport class for MotoAmerica, in place of the R6. So while the displacement is closer to the R1 than the R6 was, it's going to have power numbers that are more comparable to the R6 (120ish hp) compared to the R1s 200hp. At least this is the word lol. I guess we will see.

I'm in Ohio and drove down to West Virginia to pick this one up. Yes the values of these have gone up quite a bit. Only made for six years, and I would imagine production numbers are not very high. I have read that honda never made a dollar on any one they sold.
