For those raised on clocks that are not round ... turn the knob in the direction from the 12 down directly to the 3.

Is there a separate thread for this “volume” mod?? I think you guys are all correct. So I’m leaving mine alone. For those who doesn’t like theirs? Keep modding guys!

The only way I know is to solder the two wires needed. If you live close to me, I’ll do it for you…also, I’m no soldering master.

    FALSE.

Time moves from left to RIGHT.

We move forward or RIGHT in time, and back or LEFT in time.

TIME never moves up, or down. That's documented! Day light savings!!!!

    Clocks need a mod too.

Nor should you. It is a stupid thing designed by stupid people for stupid reasons. Always do the opposite of whatever those kinds of people say.

When we lived overseas our right-hand drive vehicles had the turn signal stalk on the right and the wiper stalk on the left. You could always tell a “new comer” (including us) when they’d come to an intersection and the wipers came on. To this day I hit the wrong one now and then. The wife gets a kick out of it.

Driving a 5-speed stick shift with my left hand was easier than I thought it would be though.

You just gotta live and learn, mind the gap and always look right! ;)

20231031_105221.jpg 20231031_105152.jpgI installed the Cali Raised fog lights. Pretty simple swapout, the only pita was getting those origanal besels off. But about 20 minutes. Next is the 3rd brake light.

If you just turn your lights off, and then turn them back on, the start-up sequence goes off again. At least in neutral. I haven't tested while driving because it's difficult.

Yes, they do. Each time you turn them off and on again, you get the light show. Very cool

I love this. I am curious, though, if they make a film that would protect the whole light from sun damage. A clear film.

Jury is still out. Wish the new mud flaps said 4x4.

Also the screws into the body were the first I have removed from the truck- and I discovered they did not have nuts or plastic captures inside. That was a bit disappointing to find out

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
I "discovered" that those two bed cover mounting fasteners are PERFECTLY SPACED to fit one of these.

So I fitted one. It's called "the dog hold down" , as it serves as a leash point to keep 'em from jumping out over the sides. ;-)

Full skid set from CR put on over the weekend. Couldn't pass up 30% off on the recent group buy. Install was cake. Its nice working on the truck, didn't even need a jack.

I looked at that but was afraid the sound of the loose D link clanging around when I hit bumps would drive me nuts. That is why I specifically went with the rigid mounts - no noise. If needed I can turn them inward, outward, upward, etc. To be honest, I may never use them but hated the fact I had 2 threaded holes that weren't being utilized. :)
