    Hay All,

I am a bit new to towing and have a leaf spring question. I will need to tow ~3k trailer and wondering if the stock springs will squat to much. Also if there a TSB that will add a 4th spring so that I am not nose up when I hook up the trailer or will I need to go with some after market product. I am alos adding a trailer brake.

2010 TDR OR DC V6 auto.

Thanks in advance for any info gleaned.

You might check the TOWING thread for more info. Also, I tow a travel trailer with my 08 Taco with the towing package. I use an equalizing hitch, installed the spring TSB, and air bags. When towing with the stock rear springs (no TSB or air bags) it was unstable when towing in wind, on bumpy roads and passing large vehicles. My setup, now, is very stable. Hope this helps.

If you like the stock ride just get some airbags. If you want a stiffer ride without a load get the TSB and add the Airbags. I like the Airbags a lot. You can have both a soft ride with them when not used and a stiffer suspension when needed.
