I wish more maker would use non-recessed Floyds.

She came back to life on Halloween. Nut filled. Just have refinement left and have to get pcikguard. For an old girl plays awesome. The neck is great. Hope to keep that Gotoh bridge. So far it work. May have to widen the slot on the low E. IMG_20231031_074251.jpg

Thanks, It was in pretty rough shape. Doing a complete refret transformed it. I also cut a new nut for it. But the frets were litterally flat. Someone played the heck out this, which to me, means it's a player.

I'm trying that Gotoh bridge out on it. Seems to be working well. The original bridge has slots cut all over it.

How you liking that new crowning file? Did you get the full-size or the compact?

Here is my main guitar and amp. 2017 Gibson ES-330 and a Mojotone 5e3 clone (Fender Deluxe). I’m not very good but I sure love playing this setup!

NGD for me, today. But we’ll have to wait until tomorrow for photos as it’s still in the shipping box (Sweetwater) acclimating.

Here’s a shot of the back and it’ll bar much easier than my Chinese made Fender acoustic. I’m tickled pink today being able to take it out of the box. Had to wait since yesterday for it to acclimate.

Have the swings in weather been driving anyone else nuts? My high E is completely dead some days from frets 0-4, and relatively ok on others, but still a little muted. Maybe it is set to close to the neck? I've also read strandbergs can have some fret sprout.

Nice! You like that amp? I keep seeing Mojotone come up when I look for 5F1 parts. I got a feeling I will be building one in the future.

Just got the KVXMG on the left for half of new, had it professionally set up and frets leveled, then realized V's don't work for fat boys standing playing like strats...GUITARS.jpg
