Well, wife paid for drink package but not for internet package…

So, I guess “we were on a break.”

Very sad to hear about Matthew Perry; we as a family reference his “zingers” in this life.

    Rest in Peace, Chandler.

On a happier note, I enjoyed this first cruise.

Many “lessons learned” for an adventure such as this.

We fly back to the east coast at 5pm outta LAX. In the meantime, we have to time to ourselves.

At gate and getting ready for departure.

It’s been a fun weekend cruise.

Now, back to reality…took Tuesday off and back on Wednesday.

Lots going on…hope I have some good news by week’s end!

Good morning Delaware & Tri-State area.

Checked out of hotel and now having breakfast at Cracker Barrel.

I didn’t sleep the best possible but I’m still in travel mode.

We should be home in an hour-in-a-half. I’m not a speedster like my son-in-laws. Lol

Good morning Delaware & Tri-State Area and happy 1st of November 2023.

    Welp, back to work.

And in the middle of the week!

At least, it's a short week for me.

My first cruise was fun...it would be something to plan at least once a year.

I think 3 days was enough...not sure if a 7-day cruise would be tolerable...suppose I'd have to give it a try.

We did 7 or 10, I can't remember which, probably 10, to Bermuda and Grand Turk. That was a lot of sailing and, if you're not into gambling or there with a whole family, there wasn't a heck of a lot that interested us

We recently walked past a docked cruise ship while we were in Canada and we looked up the ship to see where it sails.

They have one trip you can buy that is the better part of a year and sails around the entire world. Talk about a long vacation.

    It was so expensive lol

    John,

I'm sure I could stay out at sea for 5 days...that would probably be better.

3 days was good enough for a first experience since it gave me a sample of what to expect.

I drank more hard liquor than I normally do...lol! (It's a good thing wife got the drink package for $59/day for each person)

The rooms on this Carnival Radiance ship provided enough room for the two of us.

Daily activity leaflets were left on the room number and advertised on TV.

First thing we did was get our safety brief...briefer spoke with accent (Gentleman sounded Australian).

There's musicians, comedians, and emcees leading festivities and it was fun to watch/participate.

If you get a chance to get in the Jacuzzi or swimming pool, that's cool! lol

Restaurants had a variety of foods...just try not to eat too much and save yourself for dinner!

All-in-all, it was a good time.

Time management is key but who is going to do that when alcohol is involved? lol

    Geeze!

It would be quite an adjustment to live on a ship for a month let alone a year!

My wife said she would miss seeing trees...and going grocery shopping.

I'd miss my yard and driving my truck.

Good morning Delaware & surrounding area.

Did the remote start again this morning...this time I had the fan set to defrost with speed 2 from the day before.

There was frost on the roof of my truck this morning...but the windshield was clear.

    @Dream Weaver

Good Morning Connor! Did you see my PM request?

If you're still interested in getting information about OTT tune, let me know.

So, yesterday in the late afternoon I decided to dig out/replace a vinyl fence post that had wind damage from neighbors metal shingle...it's only been 3+ months! lol

    Mission Complete!

    Have a great day everyone.
