Went downtown yesterday for trick or treat with the kids, saw the Ghostbuster car and met a wrestler

We lived in our other house 13 years, right on the road, beside a store, developments all around us. Never had a trick or treater.

We moved to rural Virginia, our driveway is a 1/4 long, we had 2 cars come by trick or treating last night of people we have no idea who they were

 

I noticed that too, it's cool.

 

Busy night I think in the 20 years we have lived in our house we have seen 2.
And they lived up the hill from us on the same private road

 

There is one house beyond ours, we may see a car 3-4 times a week going to see him. We just assumed it was one of the people going to his house. He's an older guy and his sister and brother visit him. Luckily my wife bought some candy she likes just in case somebody came by

 

I had about two dozen kids, which is about half the usual but it was cold last night.

 

Your cold is different than most of ours, it was 34 for the low last night at our house. When you say cold, how cold was it?

 

2 house's beyond ours 1st. guy retired lives alone no visitors. Heck for that matter we might see him once a week. Second house younger gal and boyfriend there in and out about once a day.

When we lived in town in the Sears house,we couldn't buy enough candy it was crazy. Almost like they were bussing them in.

My low here was 21* and supposed to be a high of 42 today in town. But we're always around 5* colder. Brrrrr

 

Halloween is highly variable year to year up here. This year, we gave out 80 small bags - helps move kids along rather than picking through the whole bowl.

My town only allows trick or treaters for two hours so that helps cap it a bit.

 

New poll, as far as I know we are staying home but I haven't heard that..........yet.

 

Who's the new guy?

 

25, feels like 18. Somewhere in that area, anyway.
