Re pole: Working Thanksgiving so I get to collect that sweet double time and a half!

 

I have the week of Christmas off and had 3 days left I had to use so I took the week of Thanksgiving off as well

 

We handed out candy to about a 1000 or so last night..... Municipal Recreation-Maybe the best turnout ever. With a mass shooting 6 days prior and two days of shelter in place I think everyone was relieved to have some sense of normalcy.

 

Boss man called me at 7 this morning and said he had anal glaucoma, he didn't see his butt coming in this morning. He sounded awful.

Coworker was out yesterday working on his gas furnace and didn't show today either.

Boss text me and said he had a hot job coming in with some screws broke off in a yoke, when was a good time for the guy to bring it? I said I leave at 3

Guy shows up and says those words no machinist wants to hear........"I tried drilling this one out"


Luckily I was able to get them both out and he's on his way to get it.

 

I think I will grow my hair long enough to make a man Bun.

Just for the fun comments I will get

 

Things worked out for the best The Dog slept in the bed .

The female friend on the coach it was much safer for me that way.

I have never had any trick or treaters Where ever I lived .

It just worked out that way .Then I camped in motels for most of my life.

Woke to 22 with a high of 38 today. It’s supposed to warm up to 49 by Saturday which will be good….

I’ve got about 1/2 of the major lawn operations to finish up.

My job for the holidays is always the same with the exception of the table build so we actually have a place to eat.
I make the home made bread (grandma taught me this useful skill a long time ago)
Fry the Oysters. We always have traditional turkey and all the sides + fried Oysters both at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
We have about 12 friends and family showing up at our house, so you six that are coming to my house need to bring a covered dish lol.

 

For the space people

 

I only got 1 hair left. Instead of man bun I do the 1 hair swirl comb over.

 

Did the walk 31- 37 with wind chill. Making lunch now

 

Had hair down to my shoulders at one time

That was until I was working under a belt and started feeling it all move. Cut it all off shortly thereafter...

 

I'm dying laughing over there.
