Yeah, I'm getting there. I hear you (sitting on my right shoulder) every time I see 6.0-6.1 at WOT.

I think I have everything we will need to do it.

 

I never realized the number of 1080P users was so large at 61% holy shit

 

Wish I could! Right now I gotta pinch pennies just to keep the roof over my head. Hell the attorney alone is a $5k retainer. But I have the parts sitting and waiting for the next time to be able to make something happen. I've only put like 3k miles on my truck in the last 2 years.

 

Most affordable and the majority of affordable and moderate capability laptops are 1080p... that's the bulk of what kids who have no income will default to

 

I could especially see that with laptops, I kind of wrote them off as possibly being a majority.

Hell, some results can be slightly skewed if the prompt came up when I was on my laptop vs PC as I have Steam on both.

But 2K monitors have become really affordable especially since OLED 4K monitors are being pushed.

 

It's not the monitors that are expensive, it's the hardware to drive them at a high framerate that holds the door closed. I know a pro Apex player that plays at 1080p just because the resolution isn't an advantage being able to run over 240fps is though.

FPS > Resolution for sure though for the most part

I'm just relieved we don't have any league players here

 

It's just spendy, I work on three 1080p monitors at home rather than my 2k one because of color accuracy and the cheap hardware I'm using has an easier time with multiple smaller monitors than expanding Ps or Lr to a 2k one. I've got lots of much more useful things to afford first before I start buying computer equip again. It's all gotten so expensive since it went mainstream and now everyone and their daughter that plays Sims is building PCs.

Sister was telling me her 11 yr old doesn't have school today and neither do a lot of other schools in the area...damn, I was never that fortunate when Halloween fell on a weekday.

 

I kind of wonder if the teachers pushed for that, would make sense. Bunch of crazy tired and hopped up on sugar kids running amok all day long the day after
