    We get a fair amount of military traffic these days. Picked up during COVID when there were fuel shortages - plenty of fuel supply here for the rich peoples private planes :rolleyes: - and more and more planes were stopping to refuel here. Never really tapered back down. We get a random C130 or other cargo types at least weekly, and a whole squad of fighters at least once a month. Even had one of @MQQSE ’s planes stop one day! They forgot to leave me a crate of salmons and halibuts though.
    I woulda thought the F18’s were just stopping for gas but the KC135 is weird. They wouldn’t need to stop if he’s in the area already :notsure:

    Speaking of bad kitties... does anyone have any advice on introducing the kitty to the woodstove? I know that he will be more then curious tomorrow, I want him to enjoy the warmth but I don't want him to find out the hard way about how hot a 600° top surface really is.

    @ Wayne.. I got some chicken breasts and corn starch today, how deep did you make the oil in the pan to fry the nuggets?

    I honestly don't know if they have a natural instinct to avoid uber hot things.. curious little buggers. I haven't heard about him making it onto the counter when the lady friend is home. ( Its her kitty, he lives at her house. He visits my house on Thursdays)

    Mike sounds like the way I used to be. Clarence was the 1st cat that I ever liked, he won me over and broke my heart when he left us. I swear that sometimes I can hear his cry and feel his presence.
