On the flip side, I love it when I hear "if they won't eat what you give them, let them starve". Oh yeah, sure...tell me you've never been around a hangry toddler before without telling me. Everyone is miserable in that situation and no one wins

Seems like some pharmaceutical company should find a way to just bottle up serotonin just to sate toddlers

My contract ended so I’m applying to jobs like crazy. Gonna pick up some shifts at the local coffee shop to tide me over in the meantime.

If they had I probably wouldn't have lived beyond 30 lol.

Toddlers are basically perpetually rolling balls 24/7 anyway, everything is super emotional and touching anything and everything is amazing

That sounds horrifying. When I'm in elementary schools sometimes I see kindergarteners having a full scale five alarm meltdown... It's in those moments that I don't necessarily feel only for the kid because it's only a moment in their life. But I feel for the teacher who still has to manage another 20 kids that could also be having a meltdown or shitting themselves or possibly both. Like I wish I could just hand her a beer...

Saw a NASA "Super Guppy" transport plane fly over while I was running near the airport here yesterday.

It's made from a Boeing 377 Stratocruiser and is the last remaining of 4 and also the only 377 still operational.

Totally... I've been doing our parent helper shifts at her school since I've been on leave, we have to do 4 a month. Basically just hanging around and making sure the kids are good while playing, teachers handle the big stuff. It can be crazy, I feel for the teachers doing it every day

I mean kids that age 3/4 can be pretty hilarious though so its also fun to watch. I think middle school would be the absolute worst to have to teach in

Ok so can someone explain to me what I did wrong here? After about 8 hours o paint, sanding, adding details, etc I went to lay a coat of clear over what was turning out one of my best pieces of work yet. The clear is an all purpose one I've used before but as soon as it hit the truck it acted like a paint stripper.

So I've read issues about this on my CNC group; your case may be particularly different but sort of the same results as your pictures show.

Something about waiting a long time before applying clear (and even recommending a specific clear, if needed at all) as you want the paint to be completely cured beforehand.

Well I painted the truck a few days ago, silver base, 2 coats of brown and then 2 light coats of blue. Waited a day for it to cure then sanded and detailed it. Paint was hard, has to be to do that. I also painted and cured in 69*F garage, even with the clear. It only effected the blue and brown, the black and brown I brushed on was fine. Must be some sort of chemical reaction. Now I've gotta make it work, somehow.

Not all clear is compatible with all paint. Clear can be really picky and act like paint stripper and break down the bond of some paints
