Yeah, it's pretty cool. No space helmet, but there's a moon base to go with the spaceship

I’m bummed. That just randomly showed up in my IG feed and I first thought “OMG! It’s happening!” Then I read and I was so disappointed. Saw a teaser pic of the official set and it looks awful. Truman’s is 100% better

Yeah, it’s gotten really confusing on what’s moving forward into official sets, too many Design and Ideas tracks to keep straight.

It must be hard to get to 10K and the rejected. Even more so if Lego goes with a crappy version. Intellectual theft!!

Finished the heavy machinery set from OneBot/Amazon. I would definitely recommend these as a gift or for yourself, they were challenging enough, easy to build, clear instructions and the pieces are good quality.
Not to mention cheap. The last 3 had 50% off at purchase coupons, so under $30.00 each.

Mixing drum rotates and has a flat 4 engine with tilt cab. Tandem axle.

The simplest of the set, dump bed and steering, rear axle stuff.

Boom/crane. Lifts, extends, winch, cable and hook operate. Four wheel steering, front and back.

Here’s what Legotruman replied when I asked him about plans via Rebrickable or other MOC venue over on Reddit:

“Thanks. Looking into it. Maybe after they formally reject the project :)

    I’ll update here with developments…

Depending on the cost of pieces needed to complete his build I would 100% buy his instructions.

Also Galileo is on his way - I put in an order about 7pm on 11/1 that included a PAB bestsellers order and already got tracking info, delivery on Monday! :bananadance:

And I finally just got around to putting in a BrickLink order for all of the Castle/Forest sets I picked up earlier this summer. Kinda got side tracked during camping season but I want to get those completed!
