    Alright, bear with me a minute....

    Not sure if they still sell them but I remember a call called 'Buck Roar'...and I thought to myself 'I aint ever heard that shit before, must be sum boolsheet'.
    That has changed.

    Yesterday afternoon I was in a tree and I heard what sounded like the sound a blue heron makes when you scare the piss out of them...only much much deeper. I heard it 3 times in maybe 15 seconds.
    Today I was in the same area but I moved about 60 yards west (cause 5 of the 6 deer I saw yesterday were over there).
    So I'm just kinda hangin out and this tiny yearling walks right under me and she was bleating like crazy (I've never had them do that so close, she was like 5 yards).
    Anyhow, a few minutes later 5 does came in; shortly thereafter a 4pt started chasing them...he started doing the buck roar thing.
    If you've never heard that, its pretty damn amazing. Much much deeper than a typical grunt....its really hard to describe.
    He chased those does around me for prolly 15 minutes, and made that crazy sound no less than 25 times. At one point he was 4 yards away while making that sound.
    If someone had told me that was a deer I would've swore it was a giant...it wasnt.

    I really wanted to video him (really really wanted to) but I was thinking I wouldn't want to be caught with my phone in my hand and a big one show up.

    So after only seeing one 4pt and several does, the evening hunt was one of the best I've had in awhile.

    I remember it, but not sure on maker or when it was out.
