I only have 24k mile on my 2022 taco I have the cloth seats. The bottom right side of the seat squeaks like crazy. Started from 10k mile and now it’s driving me nuts. On every left turn and on bumps. It’s from bottom of seat belt under the chair I think since when I don’t wear the seat belt it doesn’t squeak as much.
    Also I am 245 pound.
Anyone else experience this squeaking seat?

It’s just super disappointing also my driver side door plastic where you put up and down the windows also got little loose and when I press makes little noise sometimes.

Everything is just not well put together in Mexico factory seems like. At least the transmission and engine hopefully will last long time. Sine inside the cab squeaking noise everywhere. Poorly put together.

really disappointing. I wish they made the tacos in Japan like 4 runners.

don’t think any car’s seats makes squeaking noise from 10k mile. It’s very sad. Fingers crossed the trans and engine will make up for it for lasting decades

As for the drivers seat. There is a plastic/nylon bushing at pivot point/bolt back to bottom. I first lubed and rotated bushinh/bolt. That solved mine. I know others have replaced bushing. I don't know part #.

Mexico has little to nothing to do with the reliability or fit/finish of these trucks. Back when they were made in the US, people still tried blaming Mexico when it really didn't seem to matter which plant built them.

They are poorly put together regardless of factory or country.

No pictures. I unbolted seat, tipped to it's side to access bolt. Pulled bolt, saw bushing was wearing, lubed and rotated bushing. Put it back together. Never had problem again.
