Speaking of the precious cargo, couple pictures from Halloween of the cutest monster trucks ever (biased, I know.)

I got a set of cross bars from Yakima or Thule (I forget). They are just long enough to work on the Tundra & fit the Taco with a little extra, but no wider than the mirrors. 1 set of bedside clamps works on both trucks. It does put your RTtent at window level, but I can see over/around mine for lane changes. The nice thing about doing it this way is I can use the cross bars on the roof of anything with the correct feet for the vehicle. A dedicated rack like @MikefromCT has is nicer & good for people that don't have automotive ADHD. I do, so versatility is a real thing. Somehow I'm back to 2 trucks, 1 car, 1 RV & the Tacoma Trailer which has a cap with it's own crossbars. I wish I could get down to just 1 vehicle, but there's so many vehicles I want to run an extended test drive on. So many vehicles, so little time. :-O
(ignore the Subaru cross bars I'm using as a slide track to lift the tent onto the truck.)

 

We had snow in Brookfield on the 1st Nuno. I watched it bouncing off the parking lot.

 

i just gave up. Changed the filter, oiled the blower, cleaned the water tray in the humidifier, & turned on the heat.
It's so much nicer tonight with heat in the house than yesterday night without heat was.
There goes $250 x 5 months.

 

Because most people don't think about that, it's just tread that they look at.

Reasons like this are why I like my regular cab, I can open the slider and flip them off through that window.

Madusa truck, as in Miceli?

 

Yep, she was the driver when the Madusa monster truck was around. Dont think the kids went that far, they just wanted to be monster trucks. They have no idea who Dennis Anderson or Debrah Miceli are.
