Yeah getting highsided is never fun and it looks super nasty. But still though, even when I have come off the bike on the track, it beat getting hit by that Tahoe.

meh, imho dont do it, fantastic great fun little bike dont get me wrong though

    1) not a huge aftermarket selection if you want to build it up
    2) its carbed, you can equally get a carbed klx110 for that price and the klx has a much better aftermarket upgrade selection
    3) just get a crf110 with efi and call it a day, you will never need to tinker with carb settings regardless of weather age fuel etc

if you had zero intention on upgrading it and it was only for your little ones, the ttr line up is great, but just my .02
also, those look like the original tires, which are garbage

X2 what he said. In that CC range the other manufacturers have a better setup. However 1200 is cheap and if it’s just an around the yard thing, then it works.

KLX110, pretty much dominates the 110 scene in every regard. However the CRF with EFI is also a solid choice. If the bikes is ridden a lot then it’s not a big deal, if it sits then get the Honda. If you live at elevation or you will be using it a different elevations, then go Honda.

I will say that the KLX has a better suspension setup, but let’s be honest. It’s just firmer for larger riders lol.

Ugh, can’t find any deals on a KLX110 and the EFI Hondas are stupid expensive. The search continues! Finally built the first “jump” on the mini track.

I only preach the helmets cause I have known so many people to take a low speed, if not no speed fall over resulting in a brain bleed.
I still out on a lid even when I am rolling super slow on the trials bike :)

I crashed my bicycle last year going <10 mph and cracked my helmet all the way through and got a pretty big concussion. Definitely not worth even slow speed stuff without a lid.

agreed... had a florida buddy years ago who refused to wear one on his atv... well he is gone now from an accident so i always have one on a bike or atv...

oh off topic but since you do a lot more trails what would be a great bike to look for? after colorado id love a true trail bike something lighter then the klx but still has good enough power. 2 or 4 stroke dont matter to me. just want something more dedicated for offroad and keep the klx for adventure roles or supermoto.

I hear ya on the Helmets! I am an advocate for helmets as well. Kiddos always wear theirs when they are on their bikes and motorcycles.

If I wanted an electric scooter, you can get smaller, faster, more range, lighter scoot for 1/3rd the price on Amazon all day long.

After waiting like 4 months, my carbon fenders finally arrived. Feels a bit ridiculous to have a completely carbon fiber bike, but it's so much cheaper than oem

Lowballed them with a $1000 offer for the TTR110. They came back with $1450 as the lowest.
