Vibration When I Let Off Accelerator At 50mph.

I know there a bunch of similar posts, but hopefully I can get some advice anyway. If I let off the gas, I get some audible vibration. It seems to be the worst around 50 mph. I don't notice a difference when I turn, in 4 Hi, or 2wd. I changed the needle bearing a few years ago. It sounds similar to the needle bearing, but a little slower, but worse. It also doesn't seem like tires, but I'll rotate them in the morning.

 

Worst at 50mph, but can occur at other speeds? Does it coincide more with a certain amount of engine load and the deceleration from it?

How many miles? Between Colorado road melt and your overland/camping...maybe u-joints?

 

Yeah, maybe U jounts. I'm at 50k. I have wheeled it pretty hard, and pulled a trailer quite a bit. What does the the pumpkin sound like when the gears are going in it?

 

If it's slower than the needle bearing(wheels)...gotta be something rotating slower.

 

Good point, rotating slower, I was thinking that or maybe fewer teeth per rotation.

 

So I just drove from Colorado to PA, and it made it. Everytime I let off the gas, its like I'm driving on rumble strips. I'll take it in to the shop to get looked at soon as I can.

 

Mine has a bit of a vibration around 50mph and 2k rpm but then again so did all my 3rd gen tacomas

 

I'm eying this thread. I had my transmission flushed a few months ago at Christian Brothers, maybe they underfilled the fluid, or put in the wrong kind.
