Changed my oil and replaced the lightweight skid plates with a TRD Pro knock-off.

Odd thing - my SR5 did not have the rear skid plate, just the front. Is that normal?

Oh yes they do but you get what you pay for. Mine is a decent one that works well and has a long distance. One time mine was going off and could not see a cop car anywhere and then out of nowhere I seen him sitting at the light. Mine is updatable via usb for all the new laser/radar that they are using. It also picks up signals from behind also front and sides and shows you the strength of the signal, . If you drive by a area that sets it off with false alarms you can mute it and it has a memory so that band won’t set it off when you drive by it will just show it’s in the mute memory . They are illegal in some states . It also has an option for a Radar jammer if your hit but not sure if that is legal anywhere though lol. It has many options and it even will warn you and tell you there is a speed camera at a up coming light and show your speed you are currently going . For me it’s a very useful tool. You can even put it in stealth mode so it can’t be detected .

End of season armor touch-up and rustproofing. Also changed the oil and greased the front driveshaft U-joints while the skid plates were off:

I have the off-road with RCI engine and transmission skids. All mounting holes were there and it shouldn’t be any different on the SR5 or Sport.

Is that roof rack OEM? I've been thinking about getting that type of roof rack. Nice to see it on another black Tacoma for visualization.

Installed a new rough country Hard Low-Profile Bed Cover | Toyota Tacoma 2WD/4WD (16-23) total cost $690.00

unfortunately it’s going back. So many quality issues.

    1. Massage z shaped scratch on middle panel. Attempted cover up at the factory.
    2. Rubber weather seals were cut too short and installed poorly
    3. Adapter rail (right side) bent
    4. Top weather seals (up by the cab) bent and had holes
    5. Stripped screws
    6. Gaps all around edges

Omg that’s horrible and sorry you had to deal with this kind of quality control, or should say lack of. I have a Bakflip and really like it.
    Something you should consider imo.
They make great table tops to :D

Yeah I was disappointed and frustrated. I really want an OEM cover, I really like the look and it’s nice that they have to Tacoma badge. I’m having a rough time finding one in Massachusetts
