Does anyone else notice that Day of the Dead (a fantastic holiday in Mexico, Nov. 2, 2023) seems to be overriding Halloween (a fantastic holiday in the United States) in the media, etc.?
Don't diminish one over the other... we can have both!
Just don't tune down Halloween, please.

I think we see it more based on our location, but yeah definitely seems to be the case. Not sure why since they're different days, celebrating one doesn't need to exclude the other.

Found these little pieces of history when I was prepping the truck for sale. Thought I'd share:

Whats up guys! Hope everyone is doing well out there in this crazy world..

Im finally starting to feel a little better and start therapy soon so things are going really good so far and I'm able to have some articulation of my arm now, not much but it gets a little better every day.

I hope to be able to ride my streetbikes sometime this month, I can ride my little Yamaha scooter around the yard since a few days ago, so that's nice I don't have to walk around the yard anymore when I can ride, haha..

Sleeping is still a pain which I rarely do anyway but since I can't roll over onto my right side at night its nearly impossible. But I'm an expert at not sleeping unfortunately. I normally turn back and fourth 20 times a night (not even exaggerating) and I do not experience REM sleep, last time I had a dream was maybe 8 years ago, lol.

Im just about ready to attempt to pull my truck engine to start building a forged assembly so I can start to lean on it without worrying something letting go, but the fact that I cannot put my right hand any higher than my head poses a bit of an issue, imagine a baby T-rex trying to work on a truck and that's pretty much my scenario at the moment.

Hope all my TW brethren and sisteren are having a great weekend!

Great to hear your progressing with healing. from experience from having both Shoulders done take it slow and easy. PT will suck as they increase your ROM.

Thanks! I've had surgery before on the same shoulder so yeah getting it to have full range is where the fun begins, luckily I have a high pain threshold and the fact that I already have some decent range thats improving daily Im pretty happy with where Im at so far.

I've worked 4 of the last 7 days so Im getting back on that horse, probably faster than recommended, but Im being careful, Im not doing anything that hurts me and dont use that arm unless its just to hold something at waist level but nothing more so I dont do any damage.

Last time I was riding my dirtbike in technical type areas in just over 3 weeks. Ended up crashing HARD 5 weeks after surgery on the damn shoulder I repaired and it somehow held up, I am no trying to do that this time though, I heard thats frowned upon by medical experts, lol.

    How are you feeling bud?
