    Short bed cap

Has Thule tracks around windows I mounted traction ramps
Hidden table mount on gas struts
Custom aluminum cross bars with reverse lights
LED light strips inside above windows could be wired
Does not include rear led pods
Was water tight with RTT mounted on top, now removing wiring needs attention

Just got a new frame on the truck and spent the last three months redoing mods and rebuilding the suspension top to bottom. Next is building a flat bed with side tool boxes. No mo’ overland with Vermont property. Building an “offroad farm truck”

I got an original letter that said inspection dead line by January 2023..
Then received another one that pushed it back to June 2023. I think covid/supply chain issues. I had a golf ball size corrosion spot forming just by the passenger cat, rest of the frame looked fine. I kept an eye on it, maybe poked it a few times with an air hammer :anonymous: then once the wall broke through I took it for inspection and it “failed”. I’ve heard they rot from the inside out. After inspection, the frame swap was free but wanted to charge me 15hrs labor to uninstall then reinstall all the after market mods I have done. Pretty much said hold my beer I’ll bring it on a car trailer.. I planned to tare everything off the truck and start new when I got it back. Stealership still called while having it and tried charging me $180 for drilling and tapping two holes at the exhaust reroute cuz it’s outside the normal scope of their swap. With some push back they waved the charge. My final receipt still had that charge but balance due was $0.00

Glad Toyota took care of you. I was an early recipient of the Gen1 buyback after my truck spent a ton of time at Island Beach, and pulling my boat and wave runners out of the sea over the years. Besides a cold water rinse , never thought to coat the frame.

Same. My truck hit ten years old and never protect the frame once. But now feel differently with no more buy back plans. I live amongst surrounding lagoons to the bay and get localized flooding in the streets when the bay water comes over the bulkhead around me, at the worst I’ve seen bait fish in the street in front of my house. Also frequent IBSP.. I feel lucky being on the other side of the recall being said and done but leading up to is always worried how’s this gonna go down. Also fortunate to have a work vehicle so the Tacoma can be a side project instead of a daily driver

Thank ya sir. Life is super busy at the moment. Kids make everything move like molasses. But I did get a container delivered to my house to outfit into a garage shop bunk house to break ground in Vermont. This would be a good start..

Damn that’s one of the cleanest/nicest setups I have seen; I love that idea. I’m a few years out from a detached garage and shop build at our new house but I’d still love some decent covered storage for my Kubota, mowers, attachments, etc. and might consider this now. I’ve always seen pretty janky setups but this is nice. Would be perfect for a camp spot like VT!

I love the breeze way/carport as well. First thing I wanna do after the container is in Vermont is build a lein to metal roof off one side. Easily sore firewood even picnic table to be out of bad weather. I go through periods indulging in build video then snap outta it cuz I’m no there yet haha. I watched this build on YouTube and saved the pics..

New to the area and looking for a shop for a regear here in the near future. Does anyone have any recommendations for reputable shops?

Anyone have 08-15 tail lights four sell? Ratchet strap end came loose and in reverse the tire caught it and crunched my passenger side light.
