I have a mostly a stock TRD... I went up to my camp in Bradford, NH monday afternoon and made it 3/4 mile through 18" of packed snowmobile trail and got stuck bad where the trail was only packed one snowmobile wide. 2.5 hrs to get out. I am now debating on weather its a good idea to test my luck in the mud.

The TRAC while in 4Lo modification works pretty good, but I don't know if its good enough. I am good in snow, but not much experience in mud. Do tire chains work in the mud?

Erik - as long as your prepared it should be a good time. Also keep in mind others will be around to help watch you get stuck. I mean pull you out....

    Hey Erik,
I was there last week and was only my second time in mud,the truck handled it pretty well.
Where it's been cooler all week the ground might not be as soft, it was sloppy as hell last week and me being the bright one that i am went alone.

Haha. Could be a good show if I pull another one like monday. There was only one guy in the area and I got stuck right outside his house. He came out and said damn kid, your really $%^ked and walked away. Haha. I'm pumped to hit some mud on sat.

If I get there early enough maybe I'll try the trail, but I have the 6 speed w/LSD, and don't want to ruin my clutch trying to get out if I get stuck.

It's going to be a muddy one. Just stopped down there not more than 1 hour ago. Still looks like a blast, but I bet a couple people will get stuck.

We can check it out, depending on the height of the Merrimack river it might be flooded still (it was last week). I should have checked it out on the way back.

My name is Rob (going to have a few Rob/Bob's from the looks of it).

I drive a 09 DCSB, Non-TRD. Unfortunately I didn't have time to put the new suspension on before this meet and still have stock tires so I'll most likely be a spectator more than anything during this one.

Nice to meet you Rob, i wish i had the TRD, a locker would be a nice thing to have. I have stock suspension too with some bigger tires, only 32's tho. Should be fun tomorrow. See you a noon.
